this will show other nodes as well... maybe jumping the gun as the issues with adding are not resolved yet

half way there but still oddness on initial empty microcosm and number of items in nodes [] array 

ADDED
added a leave button to clear localStorage refs

FIXED:
adding nodes reloads nodes & support for dev changes means you stay connected

nodes are added but the page is not refreshed unless you edit a node then add a new node

Plan is to undo all this now and start a global event and add in focus trap
